First of all we would like to say that we are more than happy to have you in our Obsession team and it’s pleasure to meet you. We are hoping you enjoying our collaboration like we do.

Obsession4Fashion: Describe yourself and your blog in a one sentence to our readers.

Sara: Hat obsessed fashionista with casual style which contains a little bit of edginess and elegance.

O4F: How did you get into blogging? What inspired you to start your own blog?

S: Hmmm.. I always have a difficult time to answer this question. I’ve started to write my own diary (that was a secret for a looong time) and somehow it turned out to be a fashion blog. I decided to start writing about my style and pushed my personal life aside. I can say that I started to write my blog, because I needed one space, now I say it’s my little bubble, where I can be whatever I want to be. It became the only place where I can be 100% version of me & there is no one to judge or change me.

O4F: Do you have any professional help or did you created the blog yourself?

S: I decided about everything by myself, but I had help from one company that I worked with before as a stylist and ‘’model’’. I am not a model & don’t want to be, that is the reason why I have used this quotes.

O4F: For how long you already blogging?

S: My official blog is the place from where I started to blogging  more seriously so I can say that it will be 1 year on 11th November.

O4F: From where did your blog name/nickname?

S: Hahaha.. That is not hard to figure it out if you know me. I am blonde! Bliss came up when I was searching for a word that would describe my feelings about life and believe it or not I feel blessed. I feel blessed for everything in my life, for my blog, people and cities that I lived in. Really everything!

O4F: Where would you like to be in blogging five years from now?

S: I would like to spread my brand as The Blonde Bliss with my blog and also with my hat collection. My own, first hat collection comes out next week so I am super excited and proud of myself, because I dared to do what I was always afraid of… Following my dreams <3

O4F: How would you describe your personal and blogging style?

My personal style is casual, people would say a little sporty, edgy, adventurist, elegant and mix of girly and tomboy style. It’s hard to define it, because I don’t want to be labelled or anything. I don’t like to put label on people, because we are so much more than that.

O4F: Who was your first style icon? Is there a person who is fashion inspiration to you?

S: I would say Olivia Palermo, but my style is so far away from hers. When I was little I wore mules in school, even though I was just 10 years old, so somehow I had this instinct of what to wear and there were no rules for me. Nowadays I can say that fashion inspiration is everyone who has something special in their style, it doesn’t even matter if they write a fashion blog or are the famous or not. I can walk on a street in Ljubljana and see so many people that are just unique in their own kind of way. I like that!

O4F: Have you met anyone interesting/famous on your blogging journey?

S: I have met so many interesting people in my life. I met so many amazing bloggers, journalists and just ordinary people which I could say they are my good friend now.

O4F: Did you have any funny situation with blogging?

S: Yes I have. When I was living in Tours (France) I had a lot of funny, and amazing situations with my two Italian friends. They were taking photos for my blog and I was just dancing, making funny faces and we ended up taking photos all together. When it was time to post my look I ended up laughing and not publishing any of this photos.

O4F: How much time do you spend on blogging?

S: Sometimes I spend 3 hours if I have  prepared everything in advance, but normally around 4 to 5 hours. I do everything by myself so it’s a lot of work, but I like it.

O4F: Is it your profession or just hobby?

S: I am on that stage where it’s not a hobby anymore, because it takes a lot of my time, but also not a profession, because I do not earn enough.

O4F: Would you encourage other people to make their own blog?

S: If you like it, do it, if you don’t, then do something else. But if you have no idea whether you would like it, then just try and you will see. You have nothing to lose.

O4F: Can you give them some tips which you learned already?

S: Blogging is about being true to yourself and your readers. If you want to make a style/fashion blog, you need high quality photos, some knowledge of Photoshop (you will learn along the way trust me), perseverance and heart that loves doing it. Blogging is not about becoming famous, it’s about showing the world what is our real and pure passion.

O4F: What would you say that is the biggest challenge about fashion blogging?

S: The biggest challenge is to keep writing ant not listining ’empty’ crtics, staying true to yourself and keep your private life private.

O4F: What would you say that is the greatest satisfaction of being a fashion blogger?

S: The greatest satisfaction is when your followers share their life with you, say that you’ve inspired them to try something new and when you meet other fashionistas.

O4F: What is your favourite fashion brand?

S: There are so many brand whici I adore, but can’t afford, yet. I would say MCM, Chanel, Dior, Gucci,.. But if I have to say it’s my all time favourite Elie Saab and Chanel. Elie Saab – because his fashion shows makes you feel like you are in a fairytale. His dresses looks even better then princess dresses which I used to imagine when I was little. Chanel – the whole Coco Chanel story is so touching and because of brands big history behind every product.

O4F: What are 3 of your favourite statement pieces?

S: Hat from The Blonde Bliss collection, high waist jeans & ankle boots.

O4F: Do you have your favourite blogger? If yes, why?

S: Why do I have to pick one!? I love Aimee Song, Negin Mirsalehi, Olivia Palermo, Blair Eadie,..

O4F: What do you think is the most frustrating aspect of blogging?

S:People judging every little thing which you’ve done wrong & forget about all the things you did right.

O4F: Let’s change a topic a little bit from blogging.

O4F: What you like to do in your spare time beside blogging?

S: I working on my hat collection ( I sew everything on the hat by myself), playing with my dog Kenzo, spending time with my boyfriend, seeing my friends,..

O4F: You are from Slovenia, how would you encourage people to visit your country ?

I would say that this is a perfect little country, where you can go to the sea, mountains, beautiful capital, wine tastings,.. From one side of the country to another is just 4 hours so you can really see everything!

O4F: Favourite movie?

S: The Notebook or Sex and The City movie (I had to add second one, because I probably have watched it 30 times)

O4F: Favourite music?

S: Ed Sheeran – Thinking out loud (you caught me in romantic mood)

O4F: You are going for a one year into space, what 3 things are you taking?

S: iPhone, hat and bottle of wine.

O4F: What your biggest Obsession?

S: Hats for sure!! (hahaha..)

O4F: Are you happy for being a part of Obsession4Fashion?

S: Happy!? I am super excited and proud!! I love working with you and you are probably one of the nicest followers I have, because of your kind words about everything I publish <3

Thank you Sara!
