Unlike traditional patternmaking, which approaches the garment as a flat object, 3D Denim uses techniques to sculpt the jeans around the wearer. 3D shaping seams – additional seams are inserted at behind the knee to create an anatomical fit. Slanted thigh seams – a defining feature of the Elwood that refers to the cut-seam of leather motorcycle pants. Heel guards – reinforced with a double-layer of fabric for durability and strength.
